Introduction from Professor Leigh Drake, Director of the Business School
Thank-you for your interest in the positions of Director of the Nottingham University Business School at our China and Malaysia campuses. It is an exciting time to be joining the University, as we continue to build our presence and reputation in the international marketplace. Whether in China or Malaysia, as Director you will have the opportunity to further shape and establish Nottingham University Business School as a leading provider of business education in each country and on an international level.
Building on the considerable success that the UK School has achieved both in teaching and research, as exemplified by the RAE outcomes and our high placement in numerous ranking tables, you will be responsible for growing our teaching and research activities overseas whilst maintaining Nottingham’s reputation for excellence. As Director, you will play a key strategic leadership role, both for the Business School as a whole, as well as across the respective campuses.
Each campus presents its own unique opportunities and challenges, and I hope that as you read through the information on this microsite you will recognise the potential that is inherent in each role. This video clip also gives a brief introduction to the Business School in Malaysia and China.
If, like me, you are excited by the future of Nottingham University Business School in China and Malaysia, then we look forward to hearing from you. Please make initial contact with our advising contacts at Veredus; Alun Parry (+44 870 190 4336, alun.parry@veredus.co.uk) or Robin Woollam (+44 870 165 4228, robin.woollam@veredus.co.uk).
Yours faithfully
